What to Expect
We invite you to join us at Christ United Methodist Church, a place where differences are not a source of division, but a way to grow together spiritually and learn from each other. Our doors are wide open to you, and we invite to take part in the enrichment this diverse community offers.
No matter where you are on life's journey, we hope you find spiritual strength from your time with us. We invite your ideas and perspectives so we can join together as a multicultural force, to bring about the vision of a world where all are welcome into the Kingdom of God.
Here are some tips to know in preparation for your visit:
- Nursery. Your children are more than welcome to share in worship with us, which generally lasts about an hour. However, should you desire, a nursery is available for young children. Please see one of the ushers for assistance.
- Dress. There is no dress code. Some prefer to dress up, others come in street clothes. You are welcome to come as you like.
- Worship. We praise God in many ways, and encourage you to do the same. You are free to worship as you like, whether it be standing or sitting, clapping or meditation.
- Communion. We partake in the sacrement of communion on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to join us at God's table.
- Offering. Each Sunday, our ushers collect offering from those seeking to give to the church in support of its mission and ministry. Giving is a voluntary act of worship.
